On 28 July 2026, the children of Bawa Education Centre stepped beyond the classroom and into the world — a day full of discovery, laughter, and unforgettable moments that no lesson plan could replicate.
For many of our children, the school trip was their first time seeing parts of Nairobi they had only heard about. Armed with curiosity and dressed in their Bawa uniforms, they climbed aboard the bus with wide eyes and wider smiles.
The day was planned around enrichment — giving the children experiences that connect what they learn in class to the real world around them. From the bus window, they watched the city shift and change, asking questions, pointing, laughing.
Teachers walked alongside them throughout the day, turning every moment into a learning opportunity — not with worksheets, but with wonder. These are the kinds of days children remember. The kind that remind us why Bawa exists.
