Bawa welcomes teachers, healthcare workers, engineers, artists, builders, and storytellers. Your time here will leave something that stays long after you go.
You'll teach a real class, build something tangible, or train a teacher who stays. When you leave, the impact stays — embedded in the children, the staff, and the community.
Dandora is vibrant, resilient, and full of life. You'll spend time with families who open their homes, teachers who inspire daily, and children whose joy is entirely contagious.
Every volunteer leaves with a perspective shift. The resourcefulness and generosity you'll witness in Dandora will challenge and change how you see the world and yourself.
Many past volunteers stay connected to Bawa for years — following the children they taught, continuing to give, and becoming lifelong advocates for the community.
Bawa is a Christ-centered school and welcomes volunteers who share or respect that foundation. Our community is warm, prayerful, and grounded in mutual care.
You won't arrive and figure it out alone. Our team will orient you, match you to the right role, and check in throughout your time to make sure you're thriving.

School starts at 7:30am. Depending on your role, you might lead morning assembly, assist with a class, run a workshop, or work on a construction project. Afternoons are lighter and give time for planning, community time, or rest. Weekends are your own.
